APC Chairman Yilwatda Promotes Unity in Kano Politics

Prof. Nentaw Yilwatda, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), visited Senator Rufai Hanga, who is associated with former Kano State Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, to discuss issues affecting Kano State.

Yilwatda emphasized the need for political leaders to collaborate despite their party affiliations to foster peace and stability in the region. He stated that political differences should not hinder cooperation for the benefit of the people of Nigeria.

The visit comes amid reports of strained relations between Senator Hanga and Kwankwaso, particularly following comments made by Hanga regarding dissatisfaction with the APC's governorship ticket, which was awarded to Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna.

Allegations have surfaced that Kwankwaso is considering handing the Kano State governorship ticket to his son, Mustapha Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso. Yilwatda's remarks were made during a courtesy visit and were aimed at encouraging constructive dialogue among political leaders.
