Ex-Sports Minister Dalung Urges Nigerian Govt to Release Names of Terror Sponsors

Former Nigerian Sports Minister Solomon Dalung has urged the government to reveal the names of terrorist sponsors to demonstrate a genuine commitment to fighting terrorism. Dalung criticized the government for failing to prosecute these financiers despite mounting evidence.

He highlighted the government's diversion tactics and called out a lawmaker for opposing the idea of creating state police. Dalung emphasized the need for accountability, especially in areas like Plateau State that have suffered from attacks.

The former minister also questioned the efficacy of the federal security system compared to state police.
