Renewed Hope Event Disrupted by Crowds in Imo State

The Renewed Hope event, organized by the Citi Boi Movement, took place in Owerri, Imo State, targeting youth empowerment as part of Bola Tinubu's agenda. The program included a policy summit that gathered youth leaders, policy experts, and entrepreneurs to discuss government enterprise development and access to finance.

The second day featured an empowerment rally attended by thousands of youths, demonstrating support for the government's development agenda. However, the distribution of empowerment items was disrupted when an excited crowd surged towards the designated area, breaching barricades and causing chaos.

Despite this disruption, the Citi Boi Movement, represented by Ambros Amawh, emphasized the event's overall success and the strong interest from young Nigerians in empowerment initiatives. The movement reaffirmed its commitment to engaging youth in grassroots participation for national development, highlighting the critical role of youth in shaping Nigeria's future under Tinubu's administration.
