Renewed Hope Ambassadors Distribute Rice in Osun State

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors distributed 1,600 bags of 50kg rice in Osun State as part of an initiative to support citizens during the holy month of Ramadan and the Lenten fast. This distribution was directed by President Bola Tinubu, who emphasized the importance of ensuring that no less privileged person is left behind.

The event took place at the Tinubu/Shettima campaign office in Osogbo and was coordinated by Hon. Sundai Aker.

The gesture aimed to relieve the financial stress faced by both Muslim and Christian communities during their respective celebrations, with Ramadan lasting 30 days and Lent lasting 40 days. The initiative included support from various ethnic groups, including Hausa, Igbo, and Igala, as well as associations such as the Nigeria Labour Union and student groups, ensuring that every home could enjoy the celebrations.
