Resident Doctors Hail Diri’s Health Policies

The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) has praised the health policies of the Bayelsa State Government, calling them exemplary. NARD's National President, Osundayo Tope, commended Governor Douye Diri for consistently implementing provisions that positively impact healthcare delivery and human resource management in the state.

Tope highlighted the state's commitment to enhancing recruitment and training of skilled health workers, as well as improving equipment in health institutions. Governor Diri explained that his administration has heavily invested in healthcare delivery, manpower, and equipment to curb brain drain in the sector.

He also pledged to continue prioritizing health and education, emphasizing their direct impact on the quality of life for Bayelsans. Additionally, Diri approved funding for residency training and pledged a utility bus for the state chapter of NARD.
