NARD Announces Nationwide Strike Starting April 7, 2026

This decision follows a virtual meeting of the NARD's National Executive Council (NEC) held yesterday, where they addressed grievances against the federal government's recent decision to remove professional allowances.

NARD is demanding the reversal of this decision, the immediate payment of salary arrears, and the prompt conclusion of the payment process for outstanding 19-month arrears. The statement was signed by NARD's Secretary General, Dr. Shuaibu Ibrahim, who emphasized the need for members to unite against what they describe as an injustice.

The strike is part of NARD's broader efforts to advocate for their rights and ensure fair compensation for their services.
