Nigeria Customs at Rivers Port Nets N187 Billion, Sees 32% Revenue Growth

The Nigeria Customs Service at Rivers Port, formerly known as Port Harcourt Port, has seen a significant 32% revenue growth, collecting N187 billion in the first eight months of 2025. The Customs Service exceeded its initial revenue target of N6.584 trillion for 2025, with the Senate raising the target to N10 trillion.

The outgoing Comptroller, Y.M. Hashim, commended the efforts of the officers and men for achieving this feat.

The revenue collection has shown promising results, with the command surpassing its monthly revenue target of N216 billion. This achievement reflects a positive trend in revenue generation for the agency.
