Terry G Calls Out Benu State Governor for Denying Religious Genocide Claims

Nigerian singer and rapper Terry G, whose real name is Gabriel Amanyi, publicly criticized Benu State Governor Hyacinth Alia for dismissing claims of religious genocide in Benu State. Alia had spoken at a consultative forum on protecting Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and forcefully displaced persons (FDPs), where he denied the existence of religious genocide in the state.

Terry G questioned the governor's honesty in a post on Instagram, asking why he was lying about the situation. The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) in Abuja had also dismissed the claims of religious genocide in Benu State.
