RHLN Lagos Endorses Tinubu, Backs Hamzat for 2027

The Renew Hope Labour Network (RHLN) Lagos chapter officially endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office and named Obafemi Hamzat, the current Deputy Governor of Lagos State, as the preferred candidate for the 2027 governorship election. This announcement was made in a statement issued on Thursday, signed by John Folarin Odusot, the Lagos State Coordinator of the group.

Odusot highlighted Tinubu's leadership as a transformative force that has delivered measurable progress and emphasized the need for ongoing reforms at the federal level. The group praised Hamzat's quiet achievements and his deep understanding of policy direction, which they believe will be crucial for Lagos's future growth.

They acknowledged the role of Rt. Hon. Abiodun Faleke as the grand patron of the group, describing him as a pillar of progress and a strong advocate for people-oriented governance.

The RHLN plans to mobilize grassroots support across Lagos State in anticipation of the 2027 elections.
