Ribadu: We’ll Hunt Terrorists, We’ll Find Them and Bring Them to Justice

National Security Adviser Mallam Nuhu Ribadu reaffirmed the government's commitment to fighting terrorism and ensuring the safety of every community and citizen. He stated that the government, under President Bola Tinubu, would relentlessly hunt down terrorists and bring them to justice.

Ribadu disclosed that 128 kidnap victims, mostly young women, were rescued from bandit captivity in Zamfara State on August 26, 2025, with the support of security forces and local communities. The victims were reunited with their families, emphasizing the government's dedication to creating a secure environment for all Nigerians.

Additionally, the National Counter Terrorism Centre revealed that the rescued victims were being provided with medical and psychological support for their rehabilitation and reintegration into society. Meanwhile, civil society organizations launched initiatives to counter terrorist ideology and promote peacebuilding among Nigerian youth.
