RIFF 2026 to Showcase Film Tourism on Bonny Island

The Rivers International Film Festival (RIFF) 2026 is scheduled to occur from October 29 to November 1, 2026, on Bonny Island, Rivers State. This fourth edition of the festival aims to significantly impact Nigeria's creative and tourism sectors by bringing together filmmakers, industry professionals, and international guests.

RIFF’s Public Relations Officer, Blessing Ezeigbo, announced that the festival will focus on the theme “Film Tourism: A Pathway to Economic Development,” emphasizing the connection between the film industry and tourism. The festival has garnered support from the Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy, Mrs.
