Nollywood Stars Honor Onyeka Onwenu's Legacy

Rita Edochie and Joke Silva attended a tribute event celebrating the life and legacy of the late Onyeka Onwenu, known as the Elegant Stallion, whose career encompassed music, acting, journalism, broadcasting, and public service. The atmosphere became warm when Silva and Edochie embraced, showcasing their strong bond.

Silva recalled a memorable experience with Onwenu during the Africa Movie Academy Awards in Bayelsa, where both actresses won awards in their respective categories for lead actress and lead supporting actress. Silva described Onwenu as a disciplinarian who commanded respect.

Joseph Okechukwu, producer of "Properties of the Gods," also shared his experiences working with Onwenu. The tribute featured performances of Onwenu's beloved songs, celebrating her contributions to Nigerian culture.
