Rivers Assembly Screens Commissioner Nominees from Fubara

The Rivers State House of Assembly has initiated the screening process for nine commissioner nominees appointed by Governor Fubara. This process began on a Monday, with the nominees required to submit necessary documents for confirmation.

The assembly had previously issued an invitation for the nominees to present forty copies of their curriculum vitae and photocopies of credentials, including evidence of compliance with tax obligations. The nominees participating in the screening exercise include Professor Datony Alasia, Mr.

Tony Bellgam, Professor Templ Nwofor, Dr. Peter Nwagor, Mr.

Chariti Deemua, Tamuno William Esq, Mr. Leku Kenneth Otony, Tkd Amachre Esq, and Sir Amairigha Edward Hart.

This screening is a crucial step towards confirming the members of the Rivers State Executive Council, following the governor's appointments.
