Fubara to Swear in Five Commissioners on March 11, 2026

On Wednesday, March 11, 2026, Governor Fubara of River State is set to swear in five commissioners. This follows the confirmation of the nominees by the River State House of Assembly, as disclosed by Dagogo Wokoma in a statement issued on Tuesday from the state government secretariat.

The nominees include Tony Bellgam, Professor Templ Nwofor, Dr. Peter Nwagor, Mr.

Leku Kenneth, and Sir Amairigha Edward Hart Wokoma. The swearing-in ceremony will be held at the Executive Council Chamber of the Government House in Port Harcourt at 1:00 PM, with guests expected to be seated by 12:30 PM.

The assembly's confirmation process lasted two hours, during which some nominees, including Prof. Datony Alasia, Tamuno William Otony, T.K.D.
