Rivers State Administrator Approves Secretariat Overhaul and Civil Servants' Housing

The Sole Administrator of Rivers State has approved a comprehensive overhaul of the state secretariat and the construction of 106 housing units for civil servants. The announcement was made during the Civil Service Week Gala Awards Ceremony held at the Government House in Port Harcourt.

The project aims to modernize the state secretariat, providing a conducive work environment for civil servants who are described as the backbone of the state. The Administrator highlighted the importance of innovation, continuous training, and embracing technology for a more efficient civil service.

The initiative is part of a broader welfare reform to improve the living and working conditions of civil servants in Rivers State.
