Fubara Urges Opobo Royal Family to Avoid Inheritance Conflicts

During a church service held at St. Paul's Anglican Church in Opobo Town, Rivers State, Governor Sir Siminalayi Fubara addressed the children of the late King Dandeson Dougla Jaja, the Amanyanabo of Opobo.

He advised them against engaging in disputes over their father's inheritance, emphasizing that such conflicts could lead to division within the royal family. Fubara highlighted the importance of unity and personal success over fighting for inherited assets, which he noted could depreciate in value over time.

He encouraged the family to focus on preserving peace and working towards their individual achievements rather than allowing inheritance disputes to create discord. The governor expressed that a family torn apart by such fights would only bring sorrow, urging them to prioritize harmony over material inheritance.
