Rivers State Launches Innovation Hub to Empower Youth and Tackle Unemployment

The Rivers State government has launched an innovation hub in Port Harcourt to combat youth unemployment and health challenges, particularly HIV. Led by Governor Siminalayi Fubara, the hub aims to equip adolescents with skills through intensive training programs in various fields.

Dr. Adaez Oreh emphasized the importance of restoring dignity and nurturing hope among the youth.

The initiative involves collaboration with the Institute of Human Virology Nigeria to provide training in web design, entrepreneurship, and culinary services, among others.
