Cristiano Ronaldo Marries Georgina Rodriguez in Portugal

Cristiano Ronaldo married his long-term partner Georgina Rodriguez in a civil ceremony held at his private residence in Quinta da Marinha, located in Cascais, Portugal, approximately 20 miles from Lisbon. The couple's five children attended the event, which took place exactly one year after their engagement announcement on August 11, 2025.

Ronaldo shared a picture on Instagram showcasing their wedding rings with the caption “C heart G.” Earlier in the year, Ronaldo had expressed his intention not to rush into marriage. Following Portugal's exit from the 2026 World Cup, he hinted at the wedding, stating his desire to marry Rodriguez, whom he met while she was a sales assistant at a luxury Gucci store.

The wedding occurred just before the new Saudi Pro League season, where Ronaldo's club, Al Nassr, is set to begin its title defense under new manager Ange Postecoglu. Ronaldo has scored 976 career goals and needs 24 more to reach the milestone of 1,000 goals.
