Cristiano Ronaldo, the forward for Al-Nassr, declined to collect a runner-up medal following his team's loss to Gamba Osaka in the AFC Champions League final on Saturday night. The match, held at Al Awwal Park in Riyadh, ended with Gamba Osaka winning 1-0, thanks to a goal from Deniz Hommet.

After the final whistle, Ronaldo was observed walking towards the tunnel alongside his teammates, visibly upset by the defeat. Al-Nassr's head coach, Jorg Jesu, led the players in accepting the silver medals.

As the season progresses, Al-Nassr currently sits two points clear of Al-Hilal at the top of the Saudi Pro League and needs to defeat relegation-threatened Damac to confirm their championship status.
