Rotary Club Supports 100 Mothers with Dignity Kits

The Rotary Club in Borno State distributed dignity kits to 100 pregnant and nursing mothers as part of their activities to mark Rotary Day 2026. The distribution took place at Mala Kachalla Hospital in Maiduguri.

The kits included essential items such as buckets, sanitary pads, and soap, aimed at promoting the health and comfort of mothers. Abdulkareem Haruna, the club president, emphasized the importance of empowering mothers, highlighting their critical role in family upbringing and child development.

He stated that the items provided reflect the organization's commitment to maternal health and community support. Haruna noted that the selection of beneficiaries was done carefully to ensure that the kits would assist mothers in their journey through motherhood, ultimately contributing to a healthier community.

Khadijat Mustapha, a beneficiary, praised the Rotary team for prioritizing such initiatives that strengthen maternal health.
