Rotary Club of Eko Signature Launches Community Projects

The Rotary Club of Eko Signature was officially chartered on July 28, 2026, in Lagos, with 20 charter members aimed at serving underserved communities. Davina Ogbue was installed as the Charter President, marking the launch of the club’s Eco-Health projects.

Ogbue stated that the club's vision began in March 2026, focusing on community service and sustainable interventions. The club's first project involves rehabilitating sewage and toilet facilities at Victoria Island Secondary School, sponsored by Dharmattan Nigeria Limited, with additional donations from Mr and Mrs Molokwu.

The club is committed to ensuring the sustainability of its projects. The second project targets maternal and child health at Igwefo Health Centre, providing essential medical equipment and improving facilities for antenatal and postnatal sessions.

The third project focuses on waste management, including cleaning drainage systems and providing mosquito nets. The fourth project aims at economic empowerment, offering sewing machines and training to seven individuals for three months.
