KKF and Rotary Launch Women Empowerment Initiatives in Lagos

The KKF Legacy Society and the Rotary Club of Bourdillon launched a series of initiatives in Lagos focused on women's empowerment and environmental sustainability. The unveiling occurred during a medical outreach program at the Blue Roof Factory.

Ambassador Kirti Sudhanshu, the founder of KKF, stated that the empowerment initiative aims to transition women from trading to manufacturing, emphasizing financial independence as a means to improve lives. The initiative, named Koki, serves as a bridge between Nigeria's trading culture and manufacturing, helping women gain necessary skills and opportunities.

Winnie Ebiye from the Rotary Club highlighted the environmental aspect of the initiatives, specifically addressing the challenges posed by plastic waste, which contributes to flooding in Lagos. The organizations plan to expand their Hope 26 campaign to various communities across Nigeria, focusing on grassroots development and environmental awareness.
