Rotary District 9111 to Host Leadership Seminar in 2026

Rotary International District 9111 is organizing a District Team Leadership Seminar (DTL) scheduled for February 27-28, 2026, at Festiv Hotel. The seminar, led by District 9111 Governor Elect Bukola Bakar, aims to equip incoming officers with a clear understanding of their responsibilities and expectations.

The training will focus on creating a lasting impact and will involve district officers, committee chairmen, and cabinet members who will manage the district during the 2026-2027 Rotary year. Bakar emphasized that participants will gain in-depth knowledge of Rotary operations, strengthen professional networks, and develop essential leadership and management skills.

Samson Okenyi, Chairman of the DTL Committee, noted that attendees will receive training on effective community action plans, goal setting, and time management. The program is designed to hone the skills of new leaders to perform effectively and efficiently, with the knowledge gained expected to benefit participants in various aspects of their lives, including business management and personal finance.
