Rt Rev. Ebenezer Ajayi Adewole was enthroned as the Pioneer Bishop of Lagos South-West Diocese, marking a pivotal moment in the Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion.

The event, held on November 25, 2025, at the Cathedral Church of Pentecost in Festac, Lagos, saw the inauguration of the new diocese as part of efforts to bring episcopacy closer to the people.
