Ryan Alebiosu Expected to Play Against Lincoln City

Blackburn Rovers head coach Tony Mowbray anticipates that Nigeria international Ryan Alebiosu will be fit for the Championship match against Lincoln City on Saturday. Alebiosu was substituted for Lucas Houghton during the closing moments of Blackburn's goalless draw with Preston North End on Tuesday, September 1, raising concerns about his fitness.

Mowbray has alleviated these worries, stating, “I would think Alebiosu will be okay. Whilst he’s a wonderful talent, he’s at times fragile.” He expressed confidence that the right-back would recover with the right support from the physio department.

This season, Alebiosu has made five appearances for Blackburn across all competitions and has contributed one assist.
