Final Deadline for Civil Servants' PASGA Verification Set

The Federal Government of Nigeria has set a final two-week window for civil servants to complete the Personnel Audit Skill Gap Analysis (PASGA) verification, as outlined in a memo signed by Didi Walson Jack, the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation. This verification process is part of a broader reform initiative aimed at strengthening the efficiency and integrity of the public service.

The verification exercise will take place from February 16 to February 27, 2026, at two locations in Abuja. Civil servants who fail to complete the required assessments within this timeframe will be deemed non-compliant, leading to the cessation of their salaries starting March 2026.

This directive is part of efforts to address long-standing payroll irregularities within the federal civil service, including issues related to individuals residing abroad who continue to receive salaries without formal leave or resignation.
