Saleh and Tobin Triumph at 2025 NLNG Golf Classic in Bonny Island

Murtala Saleh and Ladi Gladi Tobin emerged victorious at the 2025 NLNG Golf Classic hosted at the Bonny Island Golf Club. Saleh claimed the men's Division 1 title by holding off Peter Igbi with a countback score of 68, while Tobin won the women's Division 1 category by defeating last year's winner, Kafayat Bamimor.

The tournament, which featured 100 golfers over two days, saw Saleh express gratitude for the support and motivation from the NLNG Trophy. Abubakar Hussaini showcased local knowledge by shooting 80 to win the best gross prize, while Nnena Ahub and Sonni Fombo also claimed prizes.

Ewach Iyoko and Michael Jaja emerged as winners in the men's guest category. Evelyn Oyom secured the women's guest title.
