Sam Larry and Peller Survive Near-Fatal Accidents

On July 4, 2026, Nigerian show promoter and socialite Samson Olamilekan Balogun Eletu, known as Sam Larry, was involved in a car accident along the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road in Ibeju-Lekki. The crash, which involved a collision with a trailer, resulted in the death of his bouncer, Olawale.

Although the car was written off, Sam Larry survived and was hospitalized for treatment. Rumors circulated about him losing the use of his legs, but he later disproved these claims by appearing in public.

He also traveled to Mecca to pray and send condolences to Olawale's family. Additionally, Habeeb Adelaja, known as Peller, experienced a serious accident in December 2025 while livestreaming, where he expressed suicidal thoughts linked to relationship issues.

His car, a Mercedes-Benz, was damaged but not a total loss, requiring N11 million for repairs. Other celebrities mentioned include actress Omeche Oko and actor Pelumi Aluko, who also faced serious accidents.
