Sanusi Advocates Government-Private Sector Aviation Collaboration

Ado Sanusi, the Chief Executive Officer of Aero Contractors, stated that constructive collaboration between the government and the private sector is crucial for national development. His remarks came during a visit from Hadiza Bala Usman, the head of the Central Result Delivery Coordinating Unit (CRDCU), to Aero Contractors, one of Nigeria's foremost commercial airlines.

Sanusi expressed his honor in welcoming Bala Usman and highlighted the significance of her visit, particularly to the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility of the airline. He noted that the government’s support for private investors in the aviation industry is vital for increasing the sector's contribution to Nigeria's GDP.

Bala Usman showed genuine interest in understanding how the government can better support the growth of the aviation industry, despite not having an aviation background. Sanusi's comments reflect a commitment to enhancing the aviation sector's capabilities across West and Central Africa.
