Sanwo-Olu Congratulates Disu as Acting IGP of Police

On Wednesday, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu congratulated Mr. Olatunji Disu on his appointment as the acting Inspector General of Police by President Bola Tinubu.

Sanwo-Olu highlighted Disu's high level of professionalism and contributions to the Nigerian Police over three decades. In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile, the governor described Disu's appointment as an honor for Lagos State.

He expressed confidence that Disu would excel in his new position, citing his proven track record of good leadership and professional administration in various roles within the police force. Disu has served in several capacities, including the Rapid Response Squad in Lagos State, and is recognized for his performance at both state and national levels.

Sanwo-Olu believes that Disu's wealth of experience will enable him to meet the expectations of Nigerians in his new mandate to enhance security across the country.
