Sanwo-Olu Launches Invest Lagos 3.0 for Trade Boost

On Thursday, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State announced the launch of Invest Lagos 3.0, a flagship investment platform designed to enhance capital mobilization and expand cross-border trade. This initiative will culminate in a summit scheduled for June 9-10, 2026, at Lagos House, Marina.

The summit aims to strengthen Lagos's position as a leading investment gateway in Africa and will feature discussions on various sectors, including infrastructure and technology. Sanwo-Olu highlighted a strategic partnership with the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council to deepen global capital mobilization and strengthen trade ties across Commonwealth countries.

The previous Invest Lagos 2.0 focused on actionable solutions for making Lagos a 21st-century economy. The upcoming summit is expected to host at least 500 high-level delegates, including representatives from sovereign wealth funds and development finance institutions.

Sanwo-Olu emphasized that the platform is transaction-driven, aiming for measurable outcomes rather than ceremonial events, and will spotlight investment-ready projects across multiple sectors.
