Saraki to Present African Perspectives in Italy Conference

Bukola Saraki, the former President of the Nigerian Senate and current Governor of Kwara State, will join leaders in Italy from June 29 to July 1 for a conference organized by the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung. The central theme of the conference is "Global Partnership Without U.S.

Leadership." Saraki is scheduled to address the gathering as part of the fifth panel on Tuesday afternoon, where he will present the African perspective on developing policies in light of U.S. withdrawal from international development opportunities. He is one of 22 participants selected for this panel, drawing on his experience in both the private and public sectors during his tenure in Nigeria.

The panel will also include Dr. Paola Bautista de Aleman, Vice President of Training Programs at Primero Justicia in Venezuela, and Prof.

Christian Leuprecht from the Royal Military College of Canada, with Dr. Tillman Felt serving as the session chair.

The conference will explore various sub-themes, including U.S. strategic priorities and international partnerships.
