Scores Trapped as Two-Storey Building Collapses in Lagos, 15 Rescued

A two-storey building collapse in Lagos, specifically at 54 Cole Street near the cemetery bus stop by UBA Bank in Oyingbo, resulted in scores of individuals being trapped. The Lagos State Fire Rescue Service swiftly responded to distress calls, rescuing 15 people, including adults and children, with various degrees of injuries.

Victims were rushed to the Federal Medical Center and Ebut Meta General Hospital for treatment. The rescue operation is ongoing as emergency responders continue to search for more victims feared to be trapped beneath the debris.
