15 Rescued After Two-Storey Building Collapse in Lagos

A two-storey building collapsed on Cole Street in Lagos, leading to the rescue of 15 individuals, including children. The incident occurred near a cemetery in Oyingbo.

Emergency services, including the Lagos State Fire Rescue Service and LASEMA, quickly responded to the scene. Margaret Adesey, the director of the Lagos State Fire Rescue Service, confirmed the successful rescue operation.

Authorities are assessing the structural integrity of nearby buildings to prevent further casualties. Residents had been advised to vacate the building due to safety concerns prior to the collapse.
