SDP Candidate Adebayo Unveils Job and Healthcare Plans

Prince Adewol Adebayo, the presidential candidate for the Social Democratic Party (SDP), presented a comprehensive socio-economic recovery agenda in Bauchi aimed at addressing unemployment, healthcare, and education in Nigeria. Adebayo pledged to reduce the unemployment rate by 4% within two years and implement 500 programs designed to tackle poverty and improve infrastructure.

He emphasized that poverty reduction would be a central priority for his administration, with a goal to decrease poverty by 2% in the same timeframe. Adebayo's plans include free compulsory education at primary and tertiary levels, ensuring that education continues until graduates secure employment.

In healthcare, he promised universal access to affordable services, with every Nigerian entitled to four free medical examinations annually. Additionally, he outlined strategies to revive key industries, including the Ajaokuta Steel Company and textile mills, to stimulate economic growth and create jobs.

Adebayo criticized the current administration's handling of the economy, citing corruption and poor management as exacerbating hardships across the country.
