SDP Expels National Chairman and Youth Leader Amid Leadership Crisis

The Social Democrat Party (SDP) has expelled its national chairman, Alhaji Shehu Musa Gabam, and national youth leader, Ogbonna Chukwuma Uchechukwu, along with other members for various infractions. The decision was made following a meeting of the National Working Committee (NWC) in Abuja.

The party cited acts of non-conformity and disloyalty by certain members, leading to their expulsion. Additionally, some members were arrested for unlawfully entering the party's secretariat and possessing sensitive documents.

The SDP has taken decisive action to address the internal crisis and maintain party discipline.
