SDP Suspends National Chairman and Officers Over Misconduct

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) has suspended its National Chairman, Shehu Gabam, along with the National Auditor and National Youth Leader, for alleged financial misappropriation and misconduct. The suspension was announced by the party's National Public Secretary following a meeting of the National Working Committee (NWC) in Abuja.

The NWC cited violations of the party's constitution, including disloyalty and unauthorized entry into the party's national secretariat. The action aims to restore discipline and internal order within the SDP.
