Abia Governor Otti Denies Abandoning Nnamdi Kanu, Assures Efforts for Release

Abia State Governor Alex Otti refuted claims that South East governors have abandoned Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of IPOB. Otti stated that efforts are being made to secure Kanu's release, emphasizing that public disclosure could hinder the process.

He assured that steps are being taken to bring Kanu back home and engage relevant authorities. This clarification follows protests by Igbo elders accusing political leaders of neglecting Kanu.

Otti urged unity among governors and engagement with President Bola Tinubu on the matter.
