Governor Otti Assures Release Efforts for Kanu, Igbo Unity Strong

Governor Alex Otti of Abia State revealed that South East governors are actively working towards the release of detained IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu. Otti assured the public that efforts are being made to secure Kanu's release, despite previous perceptions of abandonment.

He emphasized the unity among South East governors in this endeavor, following criticisms from Igbo elders. Otti expressed optimism that the ongoing engagement with relevant authorities will yield positive results, dismissing concerns of potential derailment.

The statement came after protests at the Government House in Umuahia, urging political leaders to intervene in Kanu's case.
