Security: ‘There Is No Country That Has 100% Peace, Nigerians Should Be Grateful’ – CDS Gen Musa

Chief of Defence Staff, General Musa, emphasized on the reality that no country is completely free of security challenges, urging Nigerians to appreciate the relative peace they have. During an interview on Channels Television, he highlighted the Nigerian Armed Forces' success in arresting the son of a Boko Haram founder and an Ansaru commander.

However, he cautioned that insecurity cannot be eradicated overnight. The recent attack in Dalori Gari community, where four security personnel were killed by suspected Boko Haram terrorists, serves as a reminder of the ongoing threats.

The attackers abducted an unconfirmed number of farmers, including a woman and a young girl. The incident occurred while the troops were providing security cover to the farmers.

General Musa's remarks underscore the complex security situation in Nigeria.
