Sen. Dafinone Declares Re-Election Bid for 2027

On a significant political occasion, Sen. Dafinone formally declared his intent to seek re-election for the Senate in Ughelli, Delta State, ahead of the 2027 general elections. The declaration drew support from various political stakeholders and party faithful across the district.

Dafinone, who was elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2023, reaffirmed his commitment to the development of Delta Central. He highlighted his ongoing legislative efforts, which include empowerment programs, support for small businesses, provision of electricity, and the establishment of ICT centers and medical outreach initiatives that benefit thousands in the district.

Dafinone also expressed alignment with national and state leadership, declaring support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.

The event attracted numerous political figures, including local government chairmen and members of the House of Assembly, who unanimously endorsed his re-election bid.
