Senate Confirms Olukayode Opeyemi Agbaje as PenCom Chairman

The Nigerian Senate has confirmed Olukayode Opeyemi Agbaje as the new Chairman of the National Pension Commission (PenCom), nominated by Bola Tinubu. Agbaje, with a diverse background in law, banking, finance, and academia, has held key positions in various institutions, including Metropolitan Bank, Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank), and Lagos State Security Trust Fund.

His appointment was commended for his competence and experience. Agbaje holds a law degree from Obafemi Awolowo University, an MBA from IESE Business School in Spain, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration.
