Senate To Probe KWAM 1, Emmanson Face-Off With Airlines

The Senate Committee on Aviation, led by Senator Abdulfatai Buhari, announced on Tuesday that they will investigate the recent confrontations between popular Fuji musician KWAM 1 and airlines. The committee aims to protect the integrity of the aviation industry and restore public confidence by reviewing existing procedures and implementing corrective measures.

The probe will involve key regulatory agencies, airline operators, security bodies, and public interest groups. The incidents in question include KWAM 1's disruption at the Abuja airport and Comfort Emmanson's alleged assault on an Ibom Air crew member.

Both cases led to confrontations with airline staff and security personnel, resulting in the removal of the individuals from the aircraft. The committee has assured Nigerians that they will conduct a thorough investigation and work towards preventing such incidents from recurring.
