Kwankwaso Joins ADC, Receives Membership Card in Kano

On Monday, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the former governor of Kano State, officially joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and received his party membership card during a ceremony in Kano. The event, held at Gidan Kwankwasiyya on Miller Road in Bompai, attracted prominent political figures, including David Mark, Aminu Tambuwal, Rotimi Amaechi, Peter Obi, Dino Melaye, and John Odigi Oyegun.

In a statement released on Sunday, Kwankwaso explained his decision to defect from his former party, citing recent changes in the country's political direction as a reason for his need to pursue a different path. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve as a national leader and represent the party in the upcoming 2023 presidential elections.
