Kabir Marafa Joins Nigeria Democratic Congress Ahead of 2027

Senator Kabir Marafa has transitioned from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), a decision he announced on his official Facebook page on Tuesday. This shift is accompanied by a substantial number of supporters from Zamfara State.

NDC leader Seriake Dickson welcomed Marafa, describing his arrival as a major boost for the party's profile leading up to the 2027 general elections. Dickson expressed confidence in Marafa's ability to promote peace, stability, and development within Zamfara State under the NDC platform.

He called on residents to support the party's ideals and urged Nigerians to register as members, particularly those interested in contesting for electoral positions. The NDC's congress is scheduled for next week nationwide, emphasizing the need for peaceful and orderly conduct.

Dickson also highlighted the NDC's rapid growth, asserting it has become the third-largest political party in Nigeria and remains free from internal disputes, urging the public to disregard misinformation aimed at undermining its progress.
