Senator Umeh Distributes N64m to Indigent Students for Higher Education

Senator Victor Umeh of Anambra Central Senatorial District distributed N64 million to 326 indigent students in various higher institutions to fund their education. The funds were disbursed through Fidelity Bank in Awka, benefiting students who gained admission to universities, polytechnics, and nursing colleges but were unable to pay their fees.

Umeh was inspired by former Governor Peter Obi's commitment to investing in education. One of the beneficiaries, Nnajidemma Ogechukwu from Millennium College of Nursing, praised the senator for enabling her nursing training through the scholarship award.
