Seplat Energy Announces Q2 2026 Dividend Exchange Rate

Seplat Energy Plc has announced the applicable exchange rate for converting its Q2 2026 interim and special dividend into Naira for eligible shareholders. The rate of US$1 = ₦1,360.58 was sourced from the Central Bank of Nigeria's Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM) rate published on 12 August 2026.

Seplat Energy Plc, listed on both the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX: SEPLAT) and the London Stock Exchange (LSE: SEPL), has disclosed the exchange rate to be used in calculating the Naira equivalent of its Q2 2026 interim dividend and special dividend.

The announcement, dated 13 August 2026, states that the applicable rate is US$1 = ₦1,360.58, which reflects the NFEM rate published by the Central Bank of Nigeria on 12 August 2026. This rate applies specifically to shareholders who have elected to receive their dividend payment in Naira.

The disclosure follows the Company's dividend payment procedures, which specify that the CBN's NFEM rate is the benchmark for such conversions. Shareholders seeking additional detail on default currency definitions were directed to the Company's announcement dated 30 July 2026, available on Seplat Energy's investor relations page.

The filing was signed by Eleanor Adaralegbe, Chief Financial Officer of Seplat Energy Plc. No payment date was specified within this particular announcement.
