Seplat Energy to Lead Education Financing at Summit 2026

Seplat Energy Plc has been designated as the official theme partner for the education session at the Africa Social Impact Summit 2026, which will take place from July 22 to 24, 2026, at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos. This partnership is part of efforts to address the widening educational access gap and strengthen youth employment across the continent.

Seplat Energy will lead strategic discussions on education financing, access to quality learning, and skill development. The summit, convened in collaboration with the Sterling Foundation and the Nigeria Federal Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, is expected to attract around 2,000 delegates from 50 countries, including government officials, investors, and leaders from the private sector.

Olapeju Ibekwe, Chief Executive Officer of the Sterling Foundation, emphasized the urgency of investing in Africa's human capital, while Roger Brown, Chief Executive Officer of Seplat Energy, stated that education remains a key driver of economic resilience and inclusive growth across Africa.
