Trevoh Chalobah Joins Como from Chelsea for £30m

Como has completed the signing of Trevoh Chalobah from Chelsea for a deal exceeding £30 million. The 27-year-old defender has signed a five-year contract with Como, who finished fourth in Serie A last season and are preparing for Champions League football.

Chelsea will receive an initial £25.7 million, with an additional £5.1 million available through performance-related add-ons after extensive negotiations. This transfer concludes Chalobah's nearly 20-year association with Chelsea, where he made 151 appearances and won five trophies, including the FA Cup in 2018 and the Conference League in 2025.

Chalobah, who has two senior caps for England, expressed his delight at joining Como and reuniting with manager Cesc Fabregas, who described Chalobah as a significant signing that reflects the club's ambition. Chalobah is eager to contribute to Como's project as they strengthen their squad for the upcoming Champions League campaign.
