Senator Dickson Clarifies Remarks on Opposition Unity

Senator Seriake Dickson, a member of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), addressed recent misinterpretations of his comments during an interview with Charl Aniagolu on Arise TV. He clarified that he did not suggest Mr. Peter Obi or Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso should join the NDC, firmly correcting any inaccuracies.

Dickson emphasized his extensive political experience, having served as Attorney General and two terms in the House of Representatives for Bayelsa State, and currently serving his second term in the Senate. He underscored the NDC's commitment to providing a viable political platform for opposition politicians and expressed his readiness to contest for the presidency.

Dickson criticized the misrepresentation of his statements, asserting that his intent was to foster unity within the opposition rather than to undermine any individual.
